Important Information for Parents (Summer 2019)
- Scholars from Neighborhood Youth Association should board the bus at the NYA at 8:30 am, and should be back at the the NYA by 4:45 pm every day, except for Friday (July 26).
- Scholars from the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club should board the bus at the John Adams MIddle School branch at 8:45, and should be back by 4:30 pm every day, except Friday (July 26)
- Scholars from EmpowerHer Inglewood Site should board a bus at the Environmental Charter School Inglewood site at 7:30 am each morning and should be back by 5:15 pm every day, except Friday (July 26)
- Scholars from EmpowerHer Watts Learning Center Charter Middle School should board a bus at the Watts Learning Center Charter Middle School site at 7:30 am each morning and should be back by 5:00 pm every day except Friday (July 26)
- Scholars should bring a swimsuit and towel on Tuesday, July 23rd, Wednesday 25th, and Thursday 27th.
- Remember to fill out and turn in the photo liability form so we can post pictures of your child having fun! You can download and print it out using the file below. Hand it to Valentin at morning drop-off.

Lucas Scholars STEAM Program Graduation and Culmination
Join us for the project exhibits and graduation ceremony on the 26th, beginning at 5:30. Then enjoy a family style dinner following the exhibits.

Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
Travel information:
Parents are welcome and encouraged to drive themselves to St. Matthew's via personal vehicles, and can then bring their Scholar home after graduation. A bus will also leave the Neighborhood Youth Association (NYA) at 5:00 pm to arrive at St. Matthew's a 5:30pm. It will return to NYA at 7:00 pm
Public Transportation Options:
The #9 Bus will drop off at the bottom of Bienvenida Avenue. We can arrange a shuttle service from there.
